Current research activity

1. Conducting legal research on "The Effectiveness of Penal Code, 1860 as a ‘Code’ for the Law Enforcing Agencies of Bangladesh", funded by Social Science Research Council (SSRC), Planning Division, Ministry of Planning, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. the study will inquire into why and how decodification of the Penal Code, 1816 happened, and its impact on the substantive and procedural aspects of the law enforcement system of Bangladesh.
