My research focused on finding out the factors responsible for causing some Natural Geo-hazards like landslides, earthquakes, soil liquefaction and river bank erosion etc. as well as developing/proposing suitable possible mitigation options to reduce the risk associated with he above mentioned natural hazards. Currently I am also very keen to do research on Environmental pollution and climate change specially in investigating the fates of pollutants in water, soil and air. It also involves the assessment, monitor and treatment of water, soil and air contaminated with hazardous contaminants and developing innovative treatment technologies for industrial and municipal waste water. This research works aims at proving best management practice options of industrial, municipal and hazardous wastes. |

I was working as a lecturer at the department of Geology and Mining of the University of Barishal from 10 December'2014 to 25 December'2017. Now I am working as an Assistant Professor at the same Department of the same University from 26 December'2017 to date. Currently I am also serving as Chairman at the department of Geology and Mining of the University of Barishal from 01 January'2018 to date. |
