Short Biography:
Shafiqul Islam is an Assistant Professor of Literature (currently on study leave) at the University of Barishal, Bangladesh. He is pursuing graduate studies in Environmental Humanities at the University of Montana, USA, supported by a Fulbright grant. His research interests include Environmental Justice, Ecocriticism, Digital Environmental Humanities, Literature and the Environment, World Literatures in English, and Cultural Studies.
