Short Biography:

Dr. Md. Sohel Chowdhury is an associate professor of Management at the University of Barishal, Bangladesh. He is also working on a UK-Malaysia Partnership project as a postdoctoral research fellow (PDRA) at the University of Malaya. He received his Ph.D. in organizational behavior and human resources management from the Department of Business Administration at Inha University (AACSB-Accredited), South Korea. He has marked his career by engaging in teaching, research, and various administrative activities. His research work centers on the practice of behavioral science research with special focus on employee development, leadership practices, workplace management, and quality education. His research works have been published in internationally referred journals such as Technology in Society, Leadership and Organization Development Journal, PLOS One, Sage Open, South Asian Journal of Business Studies, South Asian Journal of HRM, Sustainability, and so on. Besides, he has widely served as an article editor and reviewer for many international scholarly journals. Having over 12 years of teaching experience, Dr. Sohel has taught both undergraduate and graduate-level courses in his areas of specialization. He received national and international project funding, which amounts to about $160,000 for 4 research and development projects, 3 of them as the Principal Investigator. His hard work has been recognized nationally and internationally by receiving 6 awards, including the Research Excellence Award, Best Researcher Award, Academic Achievement Award, Vice-Chancellor’s Award, and Merit-Based Award.
