Short Biography:

An enthusiastic academic .......

Rifat Mahmud is currently a PhD researcher at the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham, UK. Rifat is funded by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission UK in association with FCDO for his PhD research. He completed his Masters Program in Public Administration (MPA) from the Department of Administration and Organization Theory at the University of Bergen, Norway. Rifat Mahmud completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Public Administration from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He works (on study leave) as a faculty member in the Department of Public Administration at the University of Barishal, Bangladesh. His articles have been published in notable journals such as the Asia Pacific Journal of Public Administration, the International Journal of Public Administration, Local Government, and the South Asian Survey.
