Barishal University Marketing Club proudly hosted the University Activation Programme 2025 by the iDEA Project, serving as the official Campus Partner for the Barishal Division. This nationwide initiative brought together talented and motivated students from 25+ institutions, sparking creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial ambition. Participants gained hands-on experience through practical training sessions, received personal mentorship from leading industry experts, and explored legal and strategic guidance essential for launching successful startups. They also accessed valuable resources, certification, and potential funding opportunities to further support their ventures. We are honored to have contributed to this inspiring movement that empowers the next generation of visionary entrepreneurs and change-makers.

Inception meeting of FLASH project launched at University of Barishal to promote climate-resilient and smart livelihoodsThe inception meeting of the international research project titled “Facilitating Livelihoods through Advancing Smart Habitats in Peri-Urban Bangladesh (FLASH)” was held on Saturday at the Jibanananda Das Hall of University of Barishal. The project aims to create climate-resilient and smart livelihood opportunities for people living in Bangladesh’s peri-urban regions. Muhasin Uddin, Former Charirman of the Department of English in the same university respectively. Dr. Mohammad Abdul Baten Chowdhury is the chair of this seminar.
