Md. Shafiqul Islam is currently employed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English, University of Barishal. He completed his MA in Literatures in English and Cultural Studies and BA (Honors) in English with distinction from the Department of English, Jahangirnagar University. His areas of academic interests include culture, gender and media studies, postmodern literature, environmental humanities, literary theory, postcolonial literature and human psychology. He has presented papers in national and international conferences, and his papers have been published in both national and international journals. |
