We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of our students, Jeba Tasnim and S. M. Shakaout Srabon, who secured 3rd Prize in the National Cleantech Award Ceremony & Innovation Showcase on Circular Entrepreneurship.

Their innovative project was selected among 643 applications from across Bangladesh, with only 25 teams recognized after a rigorous evaluation process, including mentoring and an accelerator program. This achievement reflects their dedication, creativity, and commitment to developing impactful solutions in the field of cleantech and circular entrepreneurship.

The award ceremony was organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in collaboration with the SME Foundation and the Department of Environment (DOE), Bangladesh.

The Department of Economics proudly recognizes this accomplishment and encourages all students to explore opportunities beyond the classroom through research, innovation, competitions, volunteering, and leadership activities that contribute to meaningful social and environmental impact.
